Family time
Its been a tough old year for my Mum with the usual disabilities of age slowing her and sadly Alzheimers playing its dirty tricks stealing bit by bit her world ,but she is a game old girl and is giving it her best. Consequently 2017 has been very trying and exhausting for all of us here at OTW with plans on hold and energy depleted both physical and emotional and I guess next year will serve up more of the same. But just for a week or two we are immersing ourselves into a family Christmas that for us will celebrate all that is good about family and the season.....family for us is everything.

The decline of the generation ahead of me has left me a bit choked. We kid ourselves that time will leave us alone.

By having children and then grandchildren we turn our darkest winters into spring. I can see it in her eyes, last photo. Well done on capturing those moments.
